Our Approach

In Hesychia Integral Therapy, we support individuals in moving beyond surface-level concerns by engaging in a structured process of self-exploration, personal growth, and inner balance through evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a transpersonal framework.

While evidence-based methods—such as cognitive-behavioural techniques and emotion-focused strategies—offer structured, empirically supported tools for addressing symptoms and improving daily functioning, transpersonal therapy expands the process by exploring deeper dimensions of meaning, identity, and personal transformation. Together, these approaches support both measurable behavioural and emotional change as well as holistic self-awareness, allowing individuals to work through immediate challenges while also engaging in broader personal growth. This integration creates a grounded, clinically informed pathway that honours both scientific understanding and the deeper aspects of human experience.

Transpersonal psychology integrates a range of elements and therapeutic resources designed to support holistic growth and expanded self-awareness.

Common components of transpersonal psychology include:

  • Mindfulness and Meditation

  • Guided Imagery and Visualisation

  • Breathwork

  • Somatic Awareness

  • Creative Expression

  • Narrative and Symbolic Work

  • Contemplative and Spiritual Practices

  • Expanded States of Awareness

  • Relational and Existential Inquiry

2. Complete Forms

After your initial contact, we will send you the intake forms to fill out. These forms include personal information and basic medical history, funding details, and mental health screening as required.

1. Initial Contact

Reach out to book a 15-minute complimentary call to discuss your needs and expectations, as well as the nature, approach, and availability of the services we offer.

3. Book an Extended Appointment

Once your forms are submitted, schedule an extended appointment. The initial session typically lasts 60 - 90 minutes and allows for a deeper exploration of your mental health issues.

4. Book Regular Sessions

Consistency is key in therapy.
Considering your situation, you will be asked to book regular meetings. Those sessions will be used to teach you coping skills, track your progress and get your feedback.

5. Closure

Once your therapeutic goals are reached, and before being discharged from the service, you will be offered an extended session to recap and evaluate your learning and outline a relapse prevention plan.
