Conditions We Treat
Depression
Depression is a common mental health condition that affects mood, energy, motivation, sleep, concentration, and overall wellbeing. Depression symptoms include persistent low mood, emotional numbness, or feeling overwhelmed by daily life, even when there is no clear reason.
Treatment for depression often includes evidence-based approaches that support emotional regulation, address unhelpful thinking patterns, process underlying stress or life experiences, and build practical coping strategies.
Psychological therapy for depression can help people regain a sense of hope, stability, and connection. Through therapy, clients often develop a deeper understanding of their emotional patterns, learn tools to manage low mood and negative self-beliefs, and strengthen resilience in daily life. For some, therapy also involves gently processing unresolved experiences that continue to impact mood and self-worth. Over time, depression therapy can support improved motivation, increased emotional flexibility, and a greater capacity to engage in meaningful relationships and activities.

Anxiety
Anxiety is a common mental health condition characterised by excessive worry, nervousness, racing thoughts, tension, restlessness, or physical symptoms such as a rapid heartbeat or difficulty sleeping. Anxiety can interfere with daily life, work, and relationships, even when there is no immediate threat.
Treatment for anxiety focuses on learning practical coping strategies to manage overthinking, improving nervous system regulation and stress response, challenging unhelpful thoughts that contribute to ongoing anxiety, strengthening emotional resilience and a sense of safety in the present moment, reducing avoidance behaviours, and gradually re-engaging in everyday routines.
Psychological therapy for anxiety can help people feel calmer, more grounded, and more confident in managing stress and uncertainty.

Trauma
Trauma can develop after experiences that overwhelm a person’s ability to cope, such as accidents, abuse, medical events, loss, or ongoing stress. People may experience symptoms such as anxiety, emotional numbness, intrusive memories, hypervigilance, low mood, or difficulty trusting others. Trauma therapy provides professional psychological support to help the brain and body process these experiences so they no longer feel as distressing in the present. It focuses on reducing trauma-related symptoms and restoring a sense of safety, stability, and control.
Psychological therapy for trauma can help individuals feel more grounded, connected, and able to engage in daily life. It supports increased self-understanding, improved relationships, and a renewed sense of meaning and stability.
